I have been playing MMOs since EQ1. I was more hardcore back then being in a raiding guild (Legacy of Steel) on the Nameless server. After WoW came out I played there for a while but my dedicated time was much lower so I didn't raid and eventually quit since the endgame required alot of time. I dabbled in Earth and Beyond and Dungeons and Dragons online but neither held my interest for long.
I am 40 years old and looking to play casually (1-2 hours/night) in the PST time zone since I have kids. I enjoy the production aspects of this game, for example I set up a full weaponsmith production line early in open beta. |

I was just looking at the societies list on the PotBS board. I feel that going into the game without a society would be boring as I like the interaction to be had from a well organized society (guild). The "we're just here to have fun" guilds didn't do anything for me as it just degenerated into a chat channel. |
